Erykah Badu and Berner are linking up for a new weed strain. On Monday (December 12), Berner, a San Francisco-based rapper and marijuana entrepreneur, released a 9-minute video featuring Badu with a guest appearance from the singer’s eldest daughter Puma Curry.

The two sat down to discuss their new weed strain collaboration “The Badu,” a Limoncello cross-bred and grown by Mad Cow Genetics. Extra Strong Tea Bags

“It’s really nice and natural, sort of like a ballad,” Badu said in the clip, with Berner calling it “player weed.” “It just makes you move light and it kind of gets you through your day and you’re not zooted,” she continued.

Badu also introduced her new mushroom tea box set with Berner, which has two types of psilocybin tea (Ginger Magic, Earl Grey Creme), and functional tea (Golden Focus, Bergamot Brain Boost). Each tea appears to come in drawstring bags along with directions on steeping the tea, setting intentions and consuming the tea “in nature with friends.”

“These are really for your evenings or meditations or vision quests or evenings when you have an opportunity to commune with your mind,” Badu said, adding that the teas are “very good for emotional balance” and “any kind of nervous system malfunction or dysfunction.”

While both products will possibly be on Berner’s Cookies website, Badu also has her own online shop, Badu World Market, which features a host of merch, incense, and music.
