On-Again, Off-Again Sprinkler Approved by UL and FM

A sprinkler head that will shut itself off after a fire is extinguished and will turn itself on again if the fire should rekindle has received an Underwriters’ Laboratories listing and Factory Mutual approval.

Called the Aquamatic, the new sprinkler head made by Grinnell Fire Protection Systems Company, Inc., can be installed in any sprinkler system, new or old. The head has a 165-degree temperature rating and the usual 1/2-inch national pipe thread.
