Vienna Fire Chief Steve Scholl said Waverly Volunteer Fire Company, Vienna Volunteer Fire Department and St. Joseph’s Ambulance Services responded to the incident, which was called in at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday, with Waverly arriving on scene first at 12:43 p.m.

Baumgartner was told that it needed to be repaired before usage and that they needed learn the proper maintenance procedures for the equipment so an accident did not occur again, said Scholl. The pool was closed for the day on Wednesday due to the accident.
Josh Channell, maintenance advisor of the North Hills Pool Board, said the Health Department would be coming today to inspect the system. He said the pool should be up and running as long as everything checks out.
