TOPOGRAPHICAL MAP OF NEW YORK.

The immense topographical map of New York city, which has been on exhibition during the past week in the Arion building, Park avenue and Fifty-ninth street, Manhattan, was designed and prepared by the topographical bureau of the board of public improvements for the International Exposition in Paris of 1900. It is drawn on a scale of 600 feet to one inch, and is thirty-one feet long and twenty-seven feet wide. It is the largest map ever made of any city in this country. It shows the gradual development of the city from its beginning up to the present time The improvements already made since consolidation, as well ns the contemplated improvements for each borough are also shown. The border of the map is unique and artistic It is made up of numerous views of the most prominent buildings, and the most picturesque parts of the city.
